Greg Dewling is the Principal of Dewling Strategies Inc., advising housing organizations, municipalities, and boards on complex challenges involving governance, operations, and development.

He spent more than 25 years inside the organizations he now advises — as the inaugural President & CEO of the University of Alberta Properties Trust, and in executive leadership at Civida, Alberta's largest provider of affordable housing. That work spans operations, development, governance, and organizational transformation across affordable housing, seniors housing, and land development.

Greg is known for stepping into complex situations—often at moments of transition or uncertainty—and helping organizations regain clarity, alignment, and forward momentum.

Greg holds the ICD.D designation and serves as a Trustee of the Sawridge Trust and as Board Treasurer at Vanguard College. He holds a B.Th and an MBA, and works directly with boards, executives, and senior leadership teams across Canada.
